Forms.
A form is a pre-defined set of movements that is commonly performed among martial arts practitioners. You may have heard a form referred to as a Kata in Karate as it is a Japanese translation of the word.
Wing Chun has a total of six forms. Three empty hand, the first taught is Siu Nim Tao (Little Idea), second Chum Kiu (Seeking the Bridge) and third Biu Jee (Darting Fingers). There is one form using a Mook Yan Jong (Wooden Dummy) and two using weapons, Bart Jarm Do (Butterfly Swords) and the Luk Dim Boon Kwan (Six and a Half Point Pole).
